.. and not just guys and eyeliner. He posted a poll on his blog* about what people hate about MTV. Because, it really needs an official poll to work out why MTV suck...

He then posted a follow up post, saying "i could only assume that you would be completely frustrated with the same things i am with mtv. it is a network called music television that does not play music videos. and when they do play videos it is in 30 second clips on TRL or underneath the credits of whatever reality show." It goes on, but that's the gist.

Anybody that has MTV has to agree, they never play music! I love going to friends houses, most of them have pay tv. (I'm poor. I don't even have a phone! HA!) Four (or more) channels of music, and ONE of them may be actually broadcasting music. And that music usually sucks.

I don't even bother checking MTV because it's always some dating show (as much as I love Next and Date My Mom) but they should make some other channel like DTV (Dating TV) or RTV (Reality TV) because this so-called "Music TeleVision" just isn't happening...

* Unless it's part of some insider joke, thats such a lame address. Oh, and you might wanna put on sunglasses or something before visiting that site too....

Voting is Open for the MTV Australia Awards

I love voting because I like to pretend like my thoughts and opinions matter. Well, when it comes to music anyway. I hate political voting. They drag me out of bed on a Saturday for me to play scribbles with on the ballot paper. But online voting, that's the way all votes should be!

...anyway, you can vote here (if you're registered or here if you're not registered) for the MTV Awards (Australian edition, naturally..)

Sadly almost every nominee is snore-worthy. So the only reason I even bothered was to try and NOT make the people I HATE win. Yes, just vote against the Veronicas, and please please please DON'T LET DELTA GOODREM WIN BEST VIDEO!!!!!!!!! - I can handle when someone I hate makes a good video but that video seriously sucks. "oooh! Lets sit around in a bunch of chairs for 3mins! Wow! What an amazing video!"

Honestly, I took a look at the first four winners and gave up. I mean, it is MTV I suppose, so what was I expecting?

Who would you have liked to see win instead?
