Years ago, when I was a youngin, my older sister had a video tape that consisted of nothing more than every Guns N Roses film clip ever made. Hence, they were the first band I ever gotten into. Well, as much as a 5 year old could get into.
So this video disappoints me. Slash, why oh why. Are you
that hard up for cash?
Anyway, to hear some awful singing (seriously, I know she's pretty much butch or whatever, but Axl could reach a higher note than that woman.... I'm just saying....) and to see some hilarious (I guess she calls it) "dancing", check out the bootleg video of
Fergie joined by
Slash covering
Sweet Child o Mine.
I did warn you... (
so I put it after the jump...)

I'm always dubious when I see the date
April 1st, but
apparently that's the date that
Slash's limited edition guitar range goes on sale. I must say, I'm a little excited about this. Not that i'll ever own one (I swear to god I'm going to be living on a students income FOREVER!) but he's probably the first guitarist I ever watched closely. And (thanks to one certain band) I've finally overcome my "Fender are the only cool guitars" syndrome that i've had for the past 10 years.
Yeah, I can't find any photos of what they'll look like, so lets just clear our minds and imagine.........

We've all
heard about "
Chinese Democracy" (the loooooooong awaited Guns N Roses release) and some of us have even heard a lot of the tracks, but apparently the record was finished before Christmas, yet there is no release date set at present.
Call me old school but with one band member left, and over 15 years in the making (omg, i wasn't even double digits when this album was started!!) I'm kind of over this before it's even released. You can't have that many years of build up without having massive expectations. And with that kind of a break between albums, (and without Slash mind you) how alienated are the former fans going to feel? And how easy is it for a ..... I don't know.... 40 year old? 50? to engague a younger audience?
I guess there are a few flannel-wearing die-hard fans still out there. And the fact that the internet is abuzz with this information (again,
no release date even!) seems like it might make an impact.
Time will tell.
