I really wasn't going to say anything when the first news broke about
Kurt Cobain estate fraud . According to Miss Love, people had been using
Kurt Cobain's social security number to purchase houses and cars and get credit cards.
My first thought was, what kind of Realtor hasn't heard of
Kurt Cobain and think some thing's amiss when someone that has been dead for nearly 15 years is suddenly going on a spending spree.
But I thought
Courtney's retort was pretty good.
"
He bought it last year. I would like to know how. He should probably get his ass back home if that is the case."
Well now it seems that everybody's favourite friends the
LAPD aren't taking her seriously.
"
She's been diagnosed with bipolar disorder explaining why her latest blogs are impossible to decipher."
Her
latest blogs?? Courtney's been writing on the internet since around 2000? Possibly earlier? And I've never been able to decipher her posts. It's always been a fun game I like to call "guess what Courtney is
trying to say". Most of the time I don't win, but that's the fun of it all.
Besides, everyone has bi polar nowadays. To quote
Richard Krupse (Rammstein, Emigrate) "
Every person I meet [...] is popping Xanax all the time!".
Surely it wouldn't hurt the
LAPD to investigate these claims
somewhat. If they turn out false, then oh well, they wasted a few resources and days when they couldn't beat up people for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. If they turn out true, then "delusional Courtney" can laugh her head off all the way to the bank. (Yes, I've been watching family guy. You know where Brian and Peter end every sentence in "... all the way to the bank!" - yeah, classic!)

I have this long running affinity for
Courtney Love, I really do. But
this interview with her talking about
Britney Spears makes me laugh.
It's not that I find either of them particularly funny, or biopolar funny, or being hospitalised funny. It's just the entire interview doesn't make sense!?!!
"
I know the exactitudes of what's going on, having been there" - I just polished up on my English and turns out it's actually a word...so I'll let that one slide. But then there's this -
"
Here is what's gonna happen if she doesn't get help — something very, very bad is gonna happen". Wow. So precise! Such exactidness! (Ha ha. Yeah, I can make up words too!)
And could someone please explain this sentence to me : "
Marilyn Monroe was strapped to a gurney too, but other then me and Britney, no one else has ever been strapped to a gurney.". Does she mean "other than me, britney AND marilyn" ??
As much as my head hurts, the last thing I find ironic is that she's giving out help on mental disorders and drugs are bad and saying how much of a better place she's in, then she goes and loses a heap of weight and says she's hungry all the time (NOTE: eating disorder red flags!!)
Just grab a fucking guitar already and release
something CLove!
