Biography

Killstar is a driving force of rock and metal fusion thrown into the midst of a dark new age. Permeating the stage with charisma and energy, this Killstar army will have you on your feet within moments of their opening performance.

Arriving on the live circuit in late 2006, the band endured many trials and tribulations but worked hard to establish themselves as a worthy contender to the Brisbane alternative rock and metal scene. With a legion of loyal fans and supporters Killstar can’t seem to go wrong.

Described as an underground superstar in her own right, lead singer Angel Lee dominates with a femme fatale presence you simply can’t ignore. With an intense metal influence, tinged with melodic expression; this powerful vocalist and queen of hearts stands tall despite her tiny stature.

The chilled out Lead guitarist, Nathan Richards holds true to his easy going surf-style attitude. However you will find nothing laid back about his efforts on stage as he captivates the audience with powerful riffs and mind numbing solo leads. A true performer and always ready for the madness of the mosh pit.

Enter in the newest addition to the band, Adrian Dickinson. This fiery and charming Casanova of rock strives hard to deliver on every level and enforces crowd participation from all. A technical and dynamic drummer, he can also be found throwing samples and effects into the mix, adding that little bit of funk that makes him so intriguing.

The backbone of the Killstar clan and the bass excellence is of course the one and only Julian Creagh. Julian takes you to the absolute core of the band with impressive bass lines and tremendous skill. A pure blend of sophistication, metal and dry humor.
