The groove is on with a whole new edge and sound that has grabbed the attention of many worldwide with much praise and support for a band that looks set to create an explosive ripple in the stream of the music industry.
We've all heard about "Chinese Democracy" (the loooooooong awaited Guns N Roses release) and some of us have even heard a lot of the tracks, but apparently the record was finished before Christmas, yet there is no release date set at present.
Call me old school but with one band member left, and over 15 years in the making (omg, i wasn't even double digits when this album was started!!) I'm kind of over this before it's even released. You can't have that many years of build up without having massive expectations. And with that kind of a break between albums, (and without Slash mind you) how alienated are the former fans going to feel? And how easy is it for a ..... I don't know.... 40 year old? 50? to engague a younger audience?
I guess there are a few flannel-wearing die-hard fans still out there. And the fact that the internet is abuzz with this information (again, no release date even!) seems like it might make an impact.
